How To Qualify For A Scholarship:
We currently offer one scholarship type:
- Copper Scholarship - These are scholarships that are offered every year thanks to our generous donors.
- Silver Endowment Scholarship - These are endowment scholarships that are offered every year thanks to our generous donors.
Below are some of the requirements to apply. Once you’ve read the requirements, scroll down or click “View Scholarships”.
Scholarship Requirements:
- Live within the boundaries of the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation during your senior year of high school or be an enrolled member of the MHA Tribe
- Be a graduating high school senior or GED equivalent
- Scholarships must be used for formalized education purposes only
- Funds must be used within 2 years of award
- Complete the application
- Other requirements as set by each individual donor below

Copper Scholarships
Scholarship: “Love for North Dakota”
Requirement(s):
- Tell us why you are choosing to stay in North Dakota after high school and how your choice of education (4-year college/university, 2-year technical college, or approved post-secondary education training) and subsequent work will make a difference on or around the Fort Berthold Reservation. (Essay of between 400-1,000 words
Silver Endowment Scholarships

Donor Profile: Little Soldier Scholarship for Education
Requirement(s):
- Must be enrolled in a four-year-post-secondary study, and
- Complete a 500 word essay on why education is important to you.
Amount: $1,000
